It's a Brazilian red-ear slider turtle. The size is about 9-inch long. Doesn't seem to be injured, so might not have been out for long. So far, it seems healthy and energetic.

Found this Brazilian red-ear slider turtle yesterday on the sidewalk of Calle Los Arboles. It's about 9-inch long and has beautiful patterns. It does not appear to be injured. We have brought it home just to make sure that it's safe. However, we cannot keep it for long. We do not have a pond or adequate equipment to take care of it. Please contact us ASAP. We will probably contact a turtle sanctuary if no one contacts us in a couple days.
