Description

Autumn was seen, this morning, around 6:30am, at Smyrna Park, on the corner of Garrison and Rose! She then ran into the mobile home park, on Fowler, across the street from the park. She stayed there for a while, then ran towards Moffett and took a left on Moffett. We lost sight of her at that point... Were really dissapointed that we could not get near enough for her to recognize us, but very happy she's alive and mobile. We searched that area for the next 3 hours. She's very skittish right now (more so than usual) and is in survival mode. It's highly unlikely she'll come if called and it's better not to call her. If you see here in that area will you PLEASE call me, right away, at and keep your eyes on her until me or one of my family members can get there? Thank you. 🙏🙏🙏 Original Post: Our dog went missing from Walter and Oakridge Dr. on June 30th. Has anyone seen her!? She is 45 lbs and her name is Autumn. She is almost all black. She's a border collie mix, but doesn't look like a typical border collie. She's got white on her chest and paws and a little around her mouth. She's can be very skittish but is very food motivated.

Autumn's Owner Says

We just want to say thank you for everyones kind thoughts and support in finding Autumn. She was found yesterday morning at 6am. She is in great condition and we are overjoyed. Thank you to everyone who called and gave us tips or just liked a post they saw about her to boost the engagement.

🚨 LOST DOG – WHAT TO DO IMMEDIATELY TO HELP BRING YOUR DOG HOME 🚨 If your dog is missing, follow these critical steps right away: 🏠 Bring Them Home with Scent and Access • Hang dirty laundry (T-shirts, socks, shoes) high on a fence or branch to allow the wind to carry the scent—use items worn by the person your dog is most bonded with. • Dogs can smell home from miles away—your scent can guide them back. • Leave an access point open such as a cracked garage or front door in case they return. • Sleep near the front door if possible—your presence may help them feel safe enough to come back. • If you have other pets, keep them secured in a separate room. 📣 Post Signs & Notify Everyone • Make signs with a clear photo and your contact info. • Put signs everywhere—on poles, street corners, and especially on doorsteps in the neighborhood. • Ask neighbors to check security cameras (e.g., Ring) for sightings. 🌐 Spread the Word Online • Post on local: • Lost & Found Facebook groups • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighbors app • Include your contact info, dog’s name, and location last seen. 🐶 Microchip & Shelter Alerts • If your dog is microchipped, notify the chip company immediately and mark your pet as lost. • Call ALL nearby animal shelters and rescues, and leave a detailed voicemail if no one answers. Follow up daily
