I beat myself up about this everyday but I had court that morning and needed someone to watch him while I was in there for the short time it took. The guy seemed very nice and genuine. Made me promise I would be back for him. The location he gave me to meet him for the pick up I thought was where I had met him by the courthouse, he meant the pet store by the Walmart. By the time I made it there they were gone. I found his blankets in a cart but no sign of him. Since have called the guy several times and he screens his calls and when I mention the dog he hangs up. He had called me initially after he was watching the dog and said they fed him and he ate and ate until he threw up. Trying to indicate that he was starving and neglected. He wasn't. He was just fine and the guy even knew our story of us saving each other. Benji is a rescue from dfl. I had him for over 10 years. He would get seizures when I first brought him home that would last hours. After cutting grains from his diet the seizures stopped. He was starting to go blind and was missing most of his teeth. 2 months before he was taken while I was in hospital a friend watched him and while there he tried to sneak inside before my friend realized what happened his pit/mastiff mix had my lil guy in his mouth. I nursed him back to where he was jumping like he was a puppy again by myself. Every would had completely healed with no infections or complications. He is my everything. I know it's been quite some time but do you think scent stations will still work to reintroduce my scent in his area? And then what? I'm really hoping that someone out there knows the guy that took him. And trust me guys I know I made a huge mistake that day, but I was desperate and it's just me so. Anyways the guy's name is James he had purple hair at the time and he was in his late 20s early thirties. Hangs out around 6th and Wadsworth.

Sarah Luv-Garcia I saw him on April 8th of last year. I had court that day and couldn't find a sitter for him so brought him with. While waiting for my appearance I asked someone I knew in area to watch him just while I was in courthouse. Afterwards I was supposed to meet them at pets mart on Wadsworth I went to wrong store. When I got to the right store there was a shopping cart with his 2 dog blankets, but my dog and guy watching my dog were nowhere to be seen. I tried calling but guy won't answer my calls and will screen unknown. Numbers. If he hears word dog he hangs up. Benji saved me when I adopted him from dumb friends league. Had him over 10 years and in February of last year while I was in hospital he got attacked by a friend's dog. His hair was missing around neck area. He is 16 now, going blind, and deaf and is missing most of his teeth. I really am just hoping someone knows something. Also guy who was watching himandultimately who kidnapped himself name is James. He had purple hair and I don't know last name.
