I found 2 dogs, one male one female by the fire station of my neighborhood. I cannot keep them and recently found out they were dumped by someone I know. They refuse to take the dog back. The male is intact. Their names are Chief and Priscilla. I believe the male is a Siberian husky mix and the female is a Shepard mix. They are both very friendly. The husky knows basic commands and the female sort of knows command.

That’s what I thought as well. Fort bend county animal services took my number and information down after I told them what happened and I had to be the one to call for a follow up just for them to tell me “unfortunately there is nothing we can do on our end. I’m sorry this is the outcome you have to go through” and not to mention they said to put the dogs back where I found them because if I hold onto them for a certain amount of time they are deemed as my pets and then I’m held responsible for them or anything they do.

Isn't it against the law to dump animals. The owners should be fined and jail time. I have been feeding dumped cats for years. My cats don't like stray animals so I can't adopt them but I always make sure they have fresh food and water
