Thank you for caring for this darling cat. You apparently took her to the vet. Did you have her scanned for a microchip? There is always a chance that she has one. Since she is clearly a lost cat, it might be worthwhile to show her photos and all area veterinary clinics. She might have been a patient at one of them, and the staff member not recognize her and be able to help you contact her owner.

Check with all animal shelters and rescue organizations in the area. Ask if anybody has come to them searching for a cat that looks like this one. Leave your phone number with all facilities you reach so that if anybody does do this, they can have them contact you directly.
When somebody does come forward to claim ownership, make sure you ask them to prove it by identifying unique characteristics about the cat – unusual markings, play or eating habits, the sound of the cats purrs and meows —anything that proves this particular kitty is theirs. You want to make sure she goes back to her real home. Meanwhile, it is clear that you are providing her with wonderful care. Thank you again.
