Message from Finder

Abandoned pair of sweet & loving kittens. A car drove up, a man got out, he got back in and drove away. These kittens were left behind. They hadn't been there before. A neighbor is keeping them in her home until they can find their forever home.

Thank you for helping! To be clear, do not rehome, give away, or transfer them directly to anyone. When animals are given away without proper verification and screening, including background checks where appropriate, the risk of abuse, exploitation, or theft is much higher than most people realize. In many areas you are even legally required to report the animal to animal control or a licensed shelter or rescue. They will do a medical check, scan for a microchip, check vet records, document the found location, and require proof of ownership from anyone claiming the animal. If not reclaimed, reputable shelters and rescues charge an adoption fee and screen adopters. Abuse and exploitation cases overwhelmingly target animals offered for free.. But you can ask them to give you their vet references, rabies tag info and vaccination information. Then, take the dog to that vet and verify everything in person. That way we can catch scammers!

Fostering? Often systems and people will pay for ALL the food and tools you need to foster! They even often pay for neutering, vaccinations, and flee and worm medications! Temporary fostering should be a really good way to help. Many shelters and rescues agree! So many more people would help if it was only for a day or 2 or 3 maybe a week at most, for most.. And i bet many of them will become long term fosters and even adopt them. to make it work we would need a local and semi local list of temporary fosters; how long and how often and when they are likely available.. then we can call them on short notice to go pick them up or meet or be ready for a drop off.. that and linking them all to the resource networks so they can get supplies they need donated. Many ai tools can help organize that very well now. Not sure if any free ones can, but id say its a 99% chance a free one will work wonders. That and we need to get the word out about it.. they cant sign up if it doesnt exist and or they dont know about it. Also we need to expand the laws against sėlling people for profit... ..and buýing them.. Rescues and shelters are the ONLY ones that should be able to sęll people -> to rescue them.... .. and laws against non medically necessary surgery or body modifications. Anyway, Ultimately the best way to spend cash on these problems is to support neutering programs and get your friends to take their's in.. every dollar spent on that saves 1000s of dollars in just a year or 2.. therefore saving many more lives than endlessly donating on the rescue end ever will😔 ..Rescues and shelters still need help obviously, but the best way to lower the amount of cash they need, is to lower the amount of "unwanted" people they have to help.. Thank you for helping spread the ideas🙏🏻
