Lost Cats Put your cats litter pan outside with any bedding, wet cat food, toys and even human clothing.... cats can smell their litter up to 2 miles away helping hem find their way home. Also call or text Babs Fry 619-249-2221 for her free help. https://www.awayhomefordogs.com/? She runs a nonprofit that helps search for lost animals. Put a large sign in front of your home with that your cat is missing w/ it’s picture and your contact info so all your neighbors know your missing a cat and if they see it they can contact you right away! Also place bright signs in your area at parks, hiking and walking trails and on street sign polls with your cats pic and your contact info. Also check yours And your neighbors sheds & garages to see if your cat might be stuck in there. And check any tall trees in your area. It’s possible that the reason your cat hasn’t made it back home is because it is stuck up a tree. Walk around calling your cats name Shaking a treat bag. Your cat is probably scared and hiding and may come out when it hears your voice. Call all shelters to see if someone brought your cat in. You can also try placing an animal trap outside your home just in case your cat comes home in the middle the night.
