KatlynandTravis Upchurch it is required by law to try and find the owners. He was microchipped in Maryland so he could've been stolen and dropped or released somewhere else. If the search leads nowhere then LDRR keeps him, gets him healthy and he gets registered to a loving family. If they can prove he was dumped, they can press charges.

Nancy Taylor McDonald I am pulling our files on dogs we paid to have neutered. It will take awhile since they are paper. I am with Paws and Claws in Wilkinson County. Even back then GAC was about the only vet to trim ears. I have called and left a message if the bill amount is not met, we will pay what is left. I feel he was dumped because of where they found him and when we were taking in dogs a lot came from that area. I pray that his chip is active and we can find owners.....thank you guys for stepping in and taking care of this poor dog.

So be nasty for what? For a person wondering? & too make sure. The vet has even said it’s crazy how nasty people like you are being all for a person wanting to be sure it wasn’t their dog.

He’s been to the vet he’s microchipped and they’re looking for the owner. His name is Gordon and he’s doing much better!!

KatlynandTravis Upchurch I’m happy to report, she did go to the vet and see the dog and it was NOT her dog that was stolen. So at least she has closure with this situation.
