This poor guy has apparently been roaming the Turkey Creek Neighborhood for days before making friends with our doggies. It is WAY too cold to send him out on his way, so he’s spending the night in a cozy kennel in our kitchen. How’s how to “sit”, coat seems groomed, but he’s quite thin, with overgrown nails.

Embarrassed to say… that’s my dog again 😅 We just moved to a property with acreage and he’s still adjusting to the new space. I didn’t know a gate blew open yesterday when I let him outside and he went exploring. He was just groomed (naturally skinny) and had an AirTag on but it’s not locating him. I’ve emailed the finder with no response yet. Thank you for posting him!

Make sure the person claiming the dog has proof of ownership...photos or veterinarian records etc. Any veterinarian office can scan for a microchip for free and no appointment needed. Put a post on the neighborhood Nextdoor maybe someone will recognize it and know who the owner is. Please don't take to the shelter. Hope the owner is found soon 🙏

Thank you so much for taking him in tonight! Looks like either a true poodle or a poodle mix …. So I would list her m on Nextdoor ASAP and post flyers in your area. Tomorrow I’d also get him to any vet, Petsmart or Petco… they will all do a free scan for a microchip.
