Prayers for a safe return soon. Leave a piece of your worn clothing with your scent on it and something with your cats scent on it outside. Leave smelly food outside like tuna while you're home and keep checking. Check in bushes, under decks and porches. Also check garages and sheds and ask neighbors to please do the same. I've also heard to empty your vacuum contents around your house helps bring kitties home. Flyers work also and help generate sightings. Pass them out everywhere. Be careful of scammers and pet trackers on this site

Look into 24 Pet Watch (formerly the Michelson Foundation) to co-register chip with their national database. If your pet is chipped, no matter what company, you can register the number on the 24 Pet Watch Microchip Registry that allows any chip number to be added to their registry. It is absolutely free with 24 Pet Watch to register any chip number with any company. Be sure to include your contact and vet information so anyone who might find your pet can have that info to get in touch. Once added, it takes maybe 10-15 minutes at most, on the website you can activate a missing alert for them which notifies the system they are missing. I recently found out about this and wanting to share with any and all pet owners. This is a great national registry and so helpful. https://www.24petwatch.com

Please also notify your vet and vets nearby and in the surrounding area in case your pet is brought in for care. Notify any and all shelters and humane societies as well. I have heard it’s helpful to check shelters daily as possible. Please know we are praying!
