Maybe because his owner s!! This Cat was supposed to be quarantine because of his first wound but nope he’s out on the street again ugh. Poor little guy

Why would anyone do that to their pet? If the owner picked him up then let him out or abandoned him again?

I am the person who rescued him in the beginning of May and turned him into Cranston animal shelter. They took him to ocean state hospital and fixed his first wound and got him neutered. Days later someone claimed him as their cat so they released the cat to that owner. Last night, the same cat showed up on my porch with a bigger wound. I tried to put him in the house to call the shelter But he ran off. I did make a phone call to the shelter today and they will be making a wellness check at the residence tomorrow. Ummm the cat is not home 😏

He had been picked up and brought to Cranston Animal Shelter at the beginning of May, I commented on their post at the time and told them he was a neighborhood stray but extremely friendly hoping they would find him a home, they neutered him and released him back into my neighborhood instead. He showed up at my house again about a week ago with bad wounds on his head and I tried to get him into a carrier but he escaped at the last second and hasn’t been back since, I’m very worried about this cat!
