Beautiful dog, well behaved, no chip. Understands basic commands, so he belonged to someone. Kind of skinny so looks like he may have been on his own for awhile. We are actively trying to place him somewhere, we already have three rescue dogs and cats, we don't have the bandwidth for another.

The day after we got him, I took him to Pet Supplies Plus to bath him and inspect his body for any issues, and then took him to Crowley Animal Hospital (Dr. Jeff Paetz) to check for a chip. None found. Since then, because we had no documentation, he has been rabies, etc. fully vaccinated, and as he tested positive for heartworms, has completed the treatment for that and as of Friday, is heartworm free. Trying to work a potential owner in Arizona for him. I don't have any shelter to take him to -- he's not good with cats, so the Humane Society won't take him - and we are in unincorporated Johnson County, so despite having a Crowley mailing address, they won't take him. He's a good dog, well behaved except for the cat thing, understands basic commands, goes into a crate in the evening, gets along with other dogs. If we did not have cats, we would keep him, but we do. And already have three rescue dogs, so the plate is full. Thanks for asking. I really like him and just want to place him into a good home. Plus I'd like to stay married, as my wife is the cat person in our relationship.

Microchipped?? It’s free at any vet’s office or a Petsmart to be scanned for a microchip

Malia Cuarisma- Shreck He's still with us Has been fully vaccinated and evaluated by our vet. He tested positive for heartworms, but is nearly complete with the treatment. Dr Paetz at Crowley Animal Hospital is our doc.

Charlotte Boeker-Burris Are you still interested? He is fully vaccinated, and we are nearly complete with the treatment of heartworms (he tested positive, so we worked with our vet to get him treated). He's a great dog, but our barn is full.

We are not going to to keep him. He will be rehomed. We have enough rescues, and he's not good with cats, which we have two of.
