Chuck Burrows 85% of Johnson County is out in the county and animal shelters do not service us I am on 35 between 604 and 917 a quarter of a mile off of the service road Burleson comes up halfway the street that you turn onto to get up to my house but I am still out in the county and therefore they do not answer any calls for animal services out here neither does Alvarado and if you try to take one to either shelter from out here they turn you away because you live in the county so that really screws all of us and I think the ones that are dumping the dogs know this because this is where they bring the dogs and dump them they really need to do better as far as taking the animals in the Alvarado shelter or the Burleson shelter because the other side of our highway is Keen I am blocked away from Burleson and about a mile outside of Alvarado

Which shelter? We live in unincorporated Johnson County, south of CR 920. Crowley mailing address, but they looked it up, we aren't in the service area, so Crowley Animal Services said no. Same for Burleson and Weatherford. Went through PawBoost's lost pets, no matches there. Not chipped, had no collar. Well behaved, knows some commands. Is learning to play with toys and balls following the lead of our male heeler.
