Amber Denise it is mainly because of Amy's comment. You didn't mention Madacc in the post so I just wanted to share the info.You would not believe how many people think its ok to just keep them. So please don't be offended by my comment. It was done with good intentions. Thank you again for taking the pup in and keeping him safe

Amber Denise if you can't find the owner by the end of the day please take the pup to Madacc.Not everyone has Social Media and Maddac is the first place people call or go to. Also contact your local Police department with your info and a description of the dog. People will often file a missing dog report with them.. It is illegal in Wisconsin to keep or give away any found domestic animal and requires any found animal to go to madacc to do a five day stray hold to give the family the best chance of finding their furbabies. Thanks for taking the pup in.

Amy Funk you can't just take a found animal. Wisconsin state law requires that any found domestic animal must be turned over to Madacc to be scanned for a mircochip and reunited with their family. It is illegal in Wisconsin to keep or give away any found domestic animal. Not everyone has Social Media and Maddac is the first place people call or go to.
