Please file a missing cat report with the Chesapeake animal shelter. If the cat is chipped to make sure you’re up contact information is up-to-date. Print flyers with your cat picture and your contact information and take them around to your neighbors. Ask them if they’ve been in their garage shed or outbuildings. Cats go in there to hide. You cannot hear a cat crying to get out of one of these buildings, unless you’re standing right next to it Tonight after 10 PM, go out on your yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight. Walk around your yard, calling your cat name and looking in the bushes with your flashlight. Indoor cats rarely stray more than 5 to 7 houses from their own. Visit the animal shelter on S. Military Highway several times a week.
