Big Gray Kitty. He was hurt in a bad fight recently and his ear is missing his fur.

Message from Owner

He is such a sweet boy. He adopted us a couple years ago and unfortunately due to my inside kitties, he stays outside. Hes been gone a week this time and I hope hes ok and doesn't have an infection.

Cherie Murray like I said in the other post where you said the same thing....he adopted us (correction) in 2023. So over 3 yrs ago. He showed up. The neighbors said he had been here in the alley for some time. We fed him as he would not leave and when he did, he came back every night. We had him scanned like I mentioned before and no chip. I didn't know about any of these posting when he showed up. It's been over 2 yrs that he showed up.

this looks like my cat lost 2yrs ago, named Moxie. The owner says this cat "adopted" them 2 yrs ago. So, this cat was a stray? If so, did they try to find where he came from before being his owner? Did the cat get scanned? Did they report him as found? I really think that is Moxie. I'm very upset

Post on Nextdoor and Ring apps. Ask neighbors to check car hoods, garages and sheds immediately. Make sure to tap hoods of the car around. Keep an entryway open for cat to get in. Buy or loan a live cat trap from online stores or local tnr groups. Leave your garage open with cat to enter. Put some food and your clothing there for smell. Get a motion sensor camera to detect when cat is around your property

General Information: Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.
