Kristin Danielle please have them contact Onslow County animal shelter. This dog was in really bad shape. Its eye looked infected. It’s breathing was abnormal, and it was very lethargic. Not sure how long it had been out or if it has other medical conditions causing it.

Catherine Spear you will see in my previous comment. This dog was posted on several sites. All Neighbors were contacted. Nobody knew this dog or came forward. This dog needed medical attention to the point where it may not have made it through the night. It was in rough shape I am not the finder, but I was contacted to see if I knew the owner. If your comment isn’t helpful and finding the dogs owner you were just clogging the feed for the lost dog report.

Catherine Spear would you rather the dogs die on the street? Would you rather the dogs get hit by a car? Do not put down the finders of these dogs that are wandering around.

Catherine Spear this dog was in horrible shape. The finder tried to find its owner. He was posted on several sites and all Neighbors were contacted, but it was very clear that this dog needed medical attention immediately. Do not shame, finders of dogs, shame the people who let them out and aren’t taking care of their dogs or worse yet dump them.
