grey and white cat very skinny and dusty however extremely friendly and affectionate, purrs a lot

i saw this cat while out on a walk, it approached us and was very friendly and affectionate. the bones were sticking out quite a lot and was very dirty and dusty which makes me wonder if this had had been abandoned

Could they be the same cat? I know the most recent pic looks different but he would have lost weight. He was a stray that came into our work car park , a lady gave him a home in LE4 but whenever I checked in, she wouldn’t reply so was worried something was wrong. Can someone message me to share pics, he was super friendly too, please let me know
