Found this dog at 4.30 a.m. on 8/3/26 running in the middle of the street on Sllkeet Club Rd. In High Point. We took it home as it looks like it has trouble with its hind legs. Called the vet number on its tag but they say they have not seen this dog for years- but would contact the person linked to the dog’s tag number. We have not heard from anyone yet. We can not take this baby in so if its owner doesn’t appear, we’ll have to turn it over to HP animal shelter.

Ashley Clayton Tillery I am sorry, BUT there is no sentence in this ad that says they will turn the dog over to GCAS!!! It specifically says::: HP animal shelter!! THAT IS NOT GCAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LIST on pawboost 🐾Contact shelter with description and location: may be first place family is looking. 🐾Posting "found dog" on a simple cardboard, along with your phone number, posted close can be extremely helpful. Have any caller identify dog FIRST (specific markings, photos, vet records) Though most people are good, some will claim free pets for dog fighting bait 🤬or other unkind reasons. 🥹💖THANK YOU for caring enough to Act and help make our community a safe and caring place for everyone, especially these vulnerable animals, who rely on humans for their care 💗

Linda WK Ch the GCAS is not a pound and works with countless rescues and fosters. Not to mention there is a page specifically for reuniting lost pets - which this little guy appears to be. Most often owners will check local shelters to see if their animal has been brought in as a stray - and the idea of the shelter selling animals is ludicrous.
