Found this dog at 4.30 a.m. on 8/3/26 running in the middle of the street on Sllkeet Club Rd. In High Point. We took it home as it looks like it has trouble with its hind legs. Called the vet number on its tag but they say they have not seen this dog for years- but would contact the person linked to the dog’s tag number. We have not heard from anyone yet. We can not take this baby in so if its owner doesn’t appear, we’ll have to turn it over to HP animal shelter.

And too, the people that own the dog could be gone for a bit or on vacation and whoever they left the dog with, the dog got loose!!!

PLEASE do not turn this dog over to the pound, pounds keep the dog 3 days for the owner, or sell the dog, or well you know what happens!! Can you see if there is anyone that can keep the dog?? If not, call SPCA, HUMANE SOCIETY, any NO- SHELTERS, explain what is wrong with the dog, and see if they will take him!! I would call the VET back to see what was said before 5 o'clock, but you can call one of these facilities to see if they will take him now!! If not, take him to SPCA or HUMANE SOCIETY, take him inside and just turn around and leave him!! They will care for the pet!! PLEASE do not give this dog to the pound!!!!!!!!
