This baby I found lying by a cat defeated. I’ve been slowly nursing him back to health and I have an inkling he is not a feral but a fur baby that was once loved..

TIPS TO HELP FIND DOG:owners FOR FOUND DOGS & cats & turtles & geikos & bird owners Put the streets/city that your doggie or Kittie was found in your original post Ask the kids in that neighborhood They usually know where all the animals live Post on Pawboost, Nextdoor,. notify the shelter that you found him without turning him in. post flyers in the neighborhood you're found him -Take a picture with you when you walk around where you found the doggie or kitty, because someone could claim him or her as theirs and do.abusive things to them don't bring the animal with you when you walk around the neighborhood. Small dogs get out tiny holes in fences. I know my Chihuahua does that sometimes. Block up holes right away check for dog microchip by Going to petsmart or Petco or any vets office to scan for a chip. Pray you find the owners. If you get a unregistered number call Lori Terry to. look up owner. she's on FB -Smaller pets will have their owner looking for him & they may b close to home - on Facebook area lost & found pet, pages - door to door w/flyers. Speak w/as many people as possible - File found report with shelters in where found and beyond if possible I have two ladies (Lori Terry is one of them) that are wonderful about looking up non registered chip numbers & They both work for large animal network online. If you need to get a hold of them. I can tell you how to contact them 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 and /or if someone says they are the fur babies owner please do this below to get proof of ownership Please require which ownership papers which means: microchip info, license, registration, shot records, vet with which these requests. the most would be license, shot records &pictures preferably with the owner. Please don't give to the shelter or humane society The shelters indented (overcrowded) right now with pandemic dogs & fire victims dogs & overwhelmed staff. Putting down animals rapidly these days to room for new dogs. The humane society doesn't euthanize but if they get overcrowded, they transfer to a facility that does that, usually a high shelter. then they will say if you call about an animal or you saw, "that animal is no. longer in our care" Additional facts are: Those people who adopted animals during the early stages of the virus period are now returning those adopted animals back to the exact shelter where it was adopted. or some of the fire victims can't pick their pets up because of financial reasons The new owners went back to work after the pandemic & have no need for their new family member. Very sad for the dogs & cats. Please reconsider not giving to the shelter . Please don't do that. find a rescue or foster to save a life but you can put up a flyer at the shelter & keep the dog with you for identification Big dogs & pit bulls & seniors animals get put down first TIPS TO HELP FIND DOG:owners FOR FOUND DOGS & cats & turtles & geikos & bird owners Put the streets/city that your doggie or Kittie was found in your original post Ask the kids in that neighborhood They usually know where all the animals live Post on Pawboost, Nextdoor,. notify the shelter that you found him without turning him in. post flyers in the neighborhood you're found him -Take a picture with you when you walk around where you found the doggie or kitty, because someone could claim him or her as theirs and do.abusive things to them don't bring the animal with you when you walk around the neighborhood.
