Message from Finder

We found this little baby in a tree, put her in a carrier while we made some calls. Since Richfield has an ordinance to not take in stray cats (booo), The ultimate decision we sadly had to make was to keep them in their place. They are not chipped & looks to be under one. Super sweet & hope they can find a safe .

I really wish more people would keep their cats as inside only or if they want them outside, put harness on them with leash.

Sadly you could’ve used compassion and common sense to rescue this kitten. Good lord. Hopefully it doesn’t get hit by a car.

Any chance you could bring her inside, if still around? In a spare room or bathroom? We could work on a plan for placement once secured inside!

Richfield absolutely does not have any law of this kind. What a crock.

If someone lives nearby, please go look for this kitty.

So let me make sure I understand this correctly… you rescued this baby and then put them back outside…? I’ve got serious issues with that. I know not everyone has capacity to take a cat in but you had options, that is absolutely ridiculous and inhumane. Do better for these animals, please.

So Sad! You put the kitty back outside??? Wow! smh!! If it's a kitten how do you expect it to make it on its own!!!!!

Agreed 100%! Richfield is being stupid because they are only adding to cat problems. Dumb!

What do you mean you had to "keep them in their place"? Do you have this kitty?
