o everyone, our cat Reggie is still missing in Carlsbad. He got out around 6:30PM on April 16th. We just moved to the area, so he may just be lost. Before we adopted him, he was an outdoor cat, so we are holding out hope that he will still make his way ! He was last seen between Paseo Del Norte and Camino De Las Ondas roads in the Carlsbad Crest s. He is usually very friendly, so he may approach someone for help getting . He is microchipped and was last seen wearing his blue collar and name tag. Please reach out with any information!!

Please check everywhere a cat could possibly hide, he will be close to home and scared, he's probably hiding where he can be sheltered. Check garages, sheds, under decks, patios and under bushes, if he's chipped, please contact the microchip co and report him missing, check that they have your correct contact information, knock on neighbors doors and ask for help, post on as many lost and found groups as possible, next-door and Craigslist. Contact the local shelters and go see cats turned into the shelter. Be hopeful, you will find him 🙏

You need to keep looking for Reggie & when you find him I definitely would NOT let him go outside especially at night because the coyotes are horrible in Carlsbad & everywhere in San Diego SO many missing cats that are never found. You should also talk to your neighbors because maybe somebody took him inside so he would be safe. Post flyers with a picture of him & your phone number! Walk around, shaking his favorite treat and calling his name. You could also put some wet food inside and open door when you’re home so he can get inside safely! Also put some dirty socks or your shirt something that smells like you so he can find his way home. He should be close by because he is not familiar with the area so he’s probably either to the left or to the right or maybe he’s in someone’s yard behind you. I hope you find him soon
