Message from Owner

Please help, Our sweet boy has been missing for 8 days, and I have been so worried and searching for him, put flyers out in our neighborhood, posted on Nextdoor but haven’t been found yet. His cat brother keeps looking for him and distressed too. I am so worried and can’t wait to get a lead and have him , I miss him so much and heartbroken. 💔 Thank you so much. He’s likely to run or hide if trying to catch. Sighting: he might have been seen in the Mission Viejo area over the weekend (Mar21 or Mar-22). Unfortunately, the person who saw replied too late and didn’t report seeing him again.

Lynn Goodwin - Thank you so much. Great suggestions. We have put up lots of posters, and I will put up more. Sadly he was seen and reported quite far away, but the person who saw him did not get back to me until days later and did not share any information about the general area. I know it was him, this was over last weekend. I have been posting on Nextdoor. Thank you again for caring and your support. I appreciate you taking the time.

Suzan Reynolds - Thank you so much for all the information and support. I truly appreciate you sharing and caring. I am doing most of these, but I can do more. I didn’t think of the flashlight. I encountered 2 scammers yesterday and 1 today.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Keep it up. Widen your search area.Get out calling Kitty especially early and late when it's quiet, search high and low with a flashlight. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving and post on next door com.

Mice Davis - Thank you so much Mice. Yes, thank you for the reminder. There is a towel with his sent on. There are raccoons that come to our yard at night, and I am hesitant to leave other things outside. They damaged cat toys already.
