Came across this dog on Rd 68 standing in the middle of the road. Was unable to stop at the time, went back about 30 minutes later and it was jumping into a canal to cool off and eating a completely petrified bird carcass. Tried back to give food, could not locate. Friendly, tail wagging, came to me, but not hip on trying to check collar (gave a gentle ‘no thank you’ nip). It has to be somebody’s baby.
