My daughter's little dog, , wandered off today from John Jay Road in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He does not have a collar but does have a chip. His chip is registered at Ferry Farm Animal hosp. We are very worried about him.

I wanted everyone to know that we found today, July 13th at around 2:30 PM. The only way that we were able to find him was through the kindness of everyone starting with the post from Melissa Felts showing his location at Ferry Farm Church. We didn't know that he had crossed Ferry Road and were looking in the wrong neighborhood. He spent the night alone. Another post let us know that there was sighting on Wakefield Avenue which is close to the church. So, we knew that he was staying in the same area. A very kind neighbor allowed us to put his kennel in their yard in hopes that he would climb in and wait to be rescued. (He was very skittish and wouldn't let people pick him up when they saw him and would run away.) They saw him and let us know that he was back around. We were than able to go to that area and call out to him. He came out of hiding and we were able to take him home. We are so thankful for everyone's help. He would not be home tonight without all of your efforts. We are very grateful!
