Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search for the flashlight high and low. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And post on nextdoor com Rep

General Information: Indoor cats are usually close to home. Check any and all hiding places in your home - closets, under side of mattress. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NOT A LITTER BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Andrea get out and knock on neighbors doors asap. She could be stuck on a garage or shed. I shared my helpful hints before. Here they are again. 🙏🐈‍⬛❤️Nighttime is the key to finding lost cats. Sun up to sundown. • If kitty is microchipped please contact the chip company to report kitty lost and make sure your contact info is up to date. • Contact local Animal control and Animal Shelter to let them know you're searching. • To find a lost cat, search at night when it's quiet, listening for meows and shaking treats. • Ask neighbors to check cameras and hidden spots, but not to chase the cat. • Set up a feeding station with smelly laundry near your door, ideally with a camera, and remove the litter box to avoid attracting predators. • Check your backyard at night. It's amazing how many kitties show up at the back door. • Put up easy-to-read posters and 4x6 small flyers. Use painters tape to hang flyers on doors and near mailboxes. Put posters where drivers can see easily. • Be wary of scammers who demand money without proof of having your cat. Ask for photos and videos. Never give them money before kitty is with you. They will say terrible, convincing things to get your money. Unfortunately, they don't really have your kitty. • I'm sorry you're going thru this. I've been thru this personally. It's a terrible feeling. • Never give up hope. 🙏🐈‍⬛❤️ (edited)
