I’m sure you’re already searching like it’s a full-time job …. As you all are out searching, it’s important to TALK to your neighbors, showing Cleo's charming photo, leaving your contact info. People will help keep eyes out when they know how much she means to you. Cats can become trapped in sheds or crawlspaces and need human help to get out. When in/out cats don't come home, it's usually because they've gotten stuck or closed up into something unexpectedly. Check under/inside decks, crawl spaces, sheds, garages, any other structures with doors. Ask neighbors to check, or let u check, those areas on their property. Signs with photo posted quickly all around the area can help a lot. Post on NextDoor, and on all surrounding lost pet sites. Critical to keep searching. Many cat owners stop their search way too soon. Creating a "safe zone" for him to reapproach home is essential if he was scared away, and could be stuck in fear state. Also, if he's closed up or stuck somewhere, he can't return until you locate that place, so calling for him isn't always successful. The effectiveness of signs posted quickly all around the area can not be overstated. Reaches those not on social media and lets neighbors know he/she's not a stray.

I am assuming this cat is spayed, so she won't go farther than 5 mile radius, or a little farther, but she could still be near home!! Also, is she an inside cat 24/7, if she is she will stay near the house for a day or two?? Put posters w/ph.no./email 1 to 5 mile radius, (this distance is for a spayed cat) call her name normally and stand still for a little bit before moving on, put the posters near the roadway and businesses so people will see them, ask anyone if they have seen her!! Email All VETS a poster w/ph.no./email, is she microchipped and registered?? Call all shelters to see if she is there, email them a poster w/ph.no./email!! GO to several pounds to see if she is there, leave a poster w/ph.no./email even if they are closed!! CALL them every 2 days to see if she is there, go every week to check the pound because there are plenty of cats this color, go now to see the persons in charge, leave a poster w/ph.no./email with them, look around the pounds while there!! A woman online here about a week ago lost her cat and she took food, water, and something with her scent on it outside when it was quiet, and she caught her cat!! Look closely around your home, look in culverts, drains, garages, under vehicles and the motor, buildings, porches and under houses, trees, garbage cans, grass, look for holes in the ground, etc., then start at your neighbors houses and look there, call the cat's name while you look and stay a bit, then go on to other houses letting people know you are looking for your cat, those you don't see, put a poster in their mailbox or front door!! You can also get a cage at the pound to catch her in, put food, water, and something with your scent on it inside!! Check Pawboost, Pawboost Community, Next Door, X, & 24petconnect periodically, you can also put her online with Next Door, X, & 24petconnect because some people may not come online FB!! There are LOST AND FOUNDS HIGH POINT, NC online here and some with the person's name!! Also make sure this notice is on FB every day!! I hope you find her!! If she is gone more than 2 days, I would get References for a GOOD Pet Tracker!!!
