Rob Bob Although I consider my cats to be part of my family, there's a huge difference between the hopes of finding what are members of one's family and finding a dog that looks like a thousands of other dogs across the country. There are methods such as age progression photos that can help you find members of family that have been gone for several years. How are you going to do that with a Chihuahua or any other dog or cat for that matter? Like I mentioned, this dog's been gone for two years and she could hope all she wants but the chances of him coming back are slim to none and while that's sad, it's true. I used to religiously repost all of this phone is out of town on that lost pets website but I don't do that anymore. Do you know why? But it got me sick and saddened to know that at least have not more of these losses could have been prevented had the owner taking better care of them. Please people, keep your for babies safe. Make sure your dog is always on a leash or at least safely fenced in your yard. Keep them shipped or get them ID tags to ensure the safe return. Few cat owners, don't let them run wild outside. Not only will you lessen the risk of them getting hit by a car but you'll also keep them safe from possible fights with other cats and other animals. If you want to let them outside, then do so under your supervision. You and your fur baby will be the happier for it.

Maybe you should update your post with a different picture of your dog? If you keep running this same poster with the same old image, chances are it'll continue to be ignored. I mean, let's be honest, it's a fairly common looking dog that's been missing over two years now, so chances are it's gone for good. Sorry to say.

Lisa Camilleri you know what? I am so tired of sanctimonious bulshit from people like you! How is it exactly that your dog came to be lost? Did you not keep him fenced-in? If there was any danger of an escape, did you have him chipped or was there any sort of identification tags on him? I've had cats for over the last 35 years and they have lived long lives up to the age of 19. Do you know why? Because I have always watched them like a hawk! They have never been outside unless under my strict supervision so this way I know they're not going to end under somebody's SUV. Now in general terms, people usually let their cats have a lot more freedom than they do dogs because dogs are not supposed to be roaming the streets by themselves. Personally, I don't think cats should be either but that's just me. Now dogs are supposed to be on leashes not only for their own protection but for the protection of others of whom they might encounter. But I'm guessing that wasn't the case with your dog because he did get out by himself without any protections provided by to ensure his safe return. Now it's been almost two years since your dog disappeared. I remember reposting that post when it first came out. If you want to live in Dreamland thinking that he's going to miraculously end up on your doorstep one day, then by all means keep on dreaming. But I only hope that if you do get another dog, you'll take much better care of him than you did this one.
