Message from Owner

🚨 MISSING CAT — PLEASE HELP US FIND MAX 🚨 Please help us bring Max home. 💔🐾 Max has been missing for 7 days. He is an indoor cat, and we are extremely worried about him. He may be scared and hiding somewhere nearby. 🧡 Name: Max has microchip and is neutered 🐱 Description: Orange/cream tabby with light stripes and a pink nose 🏠 Indoor cat 📍 Last seen: Mathias Ln & Huber Ln 📅 Missing since: 9/12 Please check your garages, sheds, porches, bushes, under decks, and underneath vehicles. An indoor cat that gets outside may hide quietly and may not come when called. If you see Max, please do not chase him. Message me immediately with the location and, if possible, a photo. 🙏 Please share this post, especially with people in our neighborhood. Someone may have seen him and not know that he is missing.

What to do if you lose your Cat 1. Search all places inside and around your house as cats can hide in small places. 2. Shake their treat bag and softly call their name. 3. Search at dusk and dawn with a flashlight as the light will pick up their eyes. Outside they tend to hide under shrubs, under porches, in open sheds & drainage ditches. You can shake their treats while looking outside too. 4. Put something with your scent on it outdoors, on a porch or deck or in your garage with the door cracked. Sometimes the scent brings them home. You can also put their litter box outside but depending on where you live, it could bring out predators. 5. Post on nextdoor & the Ring Neighbor app. 6. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 7. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups 8. Make a lost pet report to all the local shelters especially in areas that have close boundaries. 9. Post on PetFBI site and use .org as the ending. 10. If chipped, report to chip company but don’t forget to change status when your cat is found. 11. Ask your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. Your cat may be coming around at night.

Try placing g done clothes or toys on porch area. They often can find their way home from the scent. Praying for safe return.
