We went to grab a bite to eat and they got out of our hotel room. Any information would be greatly appreciated! They are very loved and we are frantic.

When my pet went missing, I learned that getting extra help early can make a difference. Consider reaching out to https://www.facebook.com/share/1HBwBVQgPy/?mibextid=wwXIfr to see what resources they may have available so they can help you track your pet.

Ask the hotel to check their cameras. They would have had to go through the hotel to get outside correct? Check with the guests to make sure someone doesn’t have them.

Put smelly food like chicken and hot dogs, their kennels, blankets and your worn clothing outside of the hotel where they escaped and at sighting locations for them. Make a scent trail of liquid smoke from the food outward in each direction. Call the police and animal control to report them missing. Ask neighbors to check surveillance camera footage to see if they have been seen on them. If they have a doggy friend/sibling that they are bonded with, take that dog out to search as well. Sometimes dogs will come to other dogs. Check the area well, including window wells, under decks, porches, bushes and places where they can get in but may not be able to get out. It’s really important to get big bright neon lost dog signs up in the area they are lost so people know who to call right away if they see them:

~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your “Fur~Baby” in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters.

The math ain't mathing with this one; this is the La Quinta after all. And the traffic is greatly reduced in the area right now, because the intersection is closed. Something just doesn't seem to add up here...
