OWNER: 1) Put a pile of your dirty laundry with your scent on it outside by the house (used bath towels; dirty socks). 2) Sprinkle catnip herb outside by the house - cats can smell that from far away.

Did you try the kitty litter trick? Take litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You may also try putting a stinky can of sardines at your door as well. Good luck!
