Put outside his/her food, bedding, toys, unwashed articles of your clothing - anything that will make a strong scent of home his/her nose can follow. Refresh daily to keep scent strong. Notify carriers (mail, UPS, FedEx, Prime, etc.) to be on lookout for, as well as any children who might be outside playing. Keep an eye on buy/sell places such as Craig’s List to ensure someone didn’t pick him/her up and try to sell him/her. Personally walk through shelter - DO NOT CALL! Be sure your microchip information is current with the chip company.
