Hermelinda "Ermy" was staying with my in-laws this weekend while we were out of town, because she gets car sick. We were on our way today and got a call that she had squeezed out of the in-laws backyard and ran off. We have all searched for hours and we can't find her. She is sweet and aloof and skittish. She won't come if you go after her. Please call or message if you see her ! She is very loved and myself, husband, and 5 kids are devastated!

Update: Hermy was struck by a car moments before my mother in law got to her, around 7am this morning. Thank you all for your help. She is now home and buried between the trees in our backyard. We are completely heartbroken and will never be the same without our girl.

Update: we still haven't found her. She was spotted again last night around 9, still in the Westwood neighborhood. We searched again where she was seen and saw no sign of her. I'm headed back there this morning to try again.

Oh my goodness - I really think I saw her behind my house twice today. I whistled and she ran the other way. I am so sorry, I wasnt quicker. I am in Oak Creek next to Bay Area Christian and I back up to a pond and Clear Creek. I will keep my eye out tomorrow
