Lost dog found near Mid America Ball Yard off E Miami River Rd and near Blue Rock Rd. Found posts on Facebook of the same dog being lost 3 months ago. Goes by the name Theo. Responds to commands. Any help connecting him with his owners would be appreciated. He is in good hands until then.

Did you know his name is Theo, because of a microchip that was not registered? Microchip Hunters can help, and they are free.

Please ask for proof of ownership from anyone claiming to be the owner. Be very careful in who you give this dog to. Many bad people out there pose as good people only to turn around and use these lost and found dogs as dog fighting bait, snake food, and laboratory testing. IN CASE YOU DIDN’T KNOW, It is against the law to give away property such as a dog that is not yours. Please report to the shelter as a found dog and go through their due process. You will have to wait 3 days if it’s not chipped and 5 days if it’s chipped. Post in as many places as you can, including Petcolove.organd PawBoost.com.
