We saw a black cat running on our backyard fence today about 15 mins ago. Think it’s the same cat as features match. Location Lindholm Cres and Kimbermount Ave It was moving down the Lindholm Cres towards Winston Churchill. Before I could open our patio door, it was gone. Hope this info helps and you find your pet soon

Please place his bedding outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home enterence . Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

Shared. If you have not yet done so, ASAP notify Toronto Animal Services and check their website for found cats. Note that TWO days is a long time to a cat so you have no time to waste. If you have not done ALL these things do them now, if you have go further in your search Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies, as cats often hide nearby when scared. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Cats will usually stay near the door they left for a day or two before searching for food. Unspayed females in heat can be chased by intact male cats and have trouble finding their way back home. Advise local feral cat feeders who may spot her searching for food. In case she's hiding nearby or manages to find her way back, leave her used littler and some food and water in hidden places near the door she left NOW and check in the afternoon/evening. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5-10 block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make an loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe.

Checking neighbors backyard properties is crucial. (Neighbors will not check as thoroughly as you will, or at all, so ask them if you can check) Indoor cats will hide quickly after getting outside. Check under bushes and remember, when afraid, they won’t respond to you calling them. Someone in my area had their cat get out and she found him 3 and a half weeks later only 4 houses away hiding in a backyard under patio furniture. The only reason he was detected was because the lady who lived there happened to look out her window and see him under the table in the backyard and recalled seeing the lost cat notice on our community FB page. -put out (unwashed) cat bed/blankets/your clothes that smell of home -put up posters in your area- important-not everyone is on facebook + if someone sees your cat but cannot find your lost cat post -leave a basement window or garage door open enough they can get in.
