Christiana Jelks Thank God. Be careful people are stealing pets. Put name and number on tag. If you have not got a fenced in yard take your dog out on a harness so it will be safe.

Christiana Jelks Look anywhere she could hide - under houses, porches, steps, behind shrubbery and any OUTBUILDINGS she could have gotten closed up in. If she's just a puppy, she's probably scared. Use a flashlight to look. It will reflect her eyes *As others have said, put some of your recently worn clothing outside your door - something with your scent on it, like dirty socks. You might also put something out with her scent on it, like her bed or blanket *Put out BRIGHTLY COLORED flyers in the area with her picture and your contact info on them. Not everyone does social media and flyers will be visible to kids, neighbors, and delivery people *Look near sources of water *I don't know how small she is, but check any drain pipes or holes on the property that she could have fallen into *Go out early mornings and late evenings when it's quiet to call and LISTEN for her. If she's scared or unwell she may not respond immediately to being called, but she might 'answer' you *If you have any wooded areas nearby, check them. Her harness could have gotten caught on fencing or brush *Check with neighbors *Don't limit your search to your immediate area. Dogs can travel long distances, especially if they're with other dogs *Check around your vehicles. It was cool last night and pets will often seek out the warmth of vehicle engines *If you can, leave a porch or garage door slightly open so she can get in *If you have any security cameras be sure to check them in case she's shown up at night or when you're not home *Check ALL of the other Lost/Found Pets sites and Nextdoor. Some people will post on one and not others *And be sure to check at PAWS, IN PERSON and often! Don't depend on calling them Are you absolutely sure she's outside? Puppies can get in the smallest places in the house. A lady found her puppy in a cabinet. I hope you find her soon! When you do, please update your Pawboost post to read REUNITED so the good news goes out to everyone's page it was shared to. And PLEASE - get her microchipped and don't let her out unless she's on the leash. 🙏🏻

Tell your friends to share it on their Facebook and news feed and next door and Paws. Check vets and shelters prayers. If you have woods around check them. Maybe you could get a megaphone speaker to call out to this baby. Put pictures on your car with info maybe someone will see it. Offer a reward for help. Put pictures on your mailbox. Put pictures around everywhere. Check to see if there are cameras around the area. Try a hunting dog. They are two shelters in Bartow County. Put clothes outside to smell. Check Calhoun animal control and Paulding animal control and Polk animal control. Check under places may be scared to come out.
