🔶️🔷️To all dog owners: Please, please keep ID tags on your dogs at all times! Also please MICROCHIP your dogs.... and register the chip ASAP with your CURRENT contact info. This makes reuniting a Found dog so much easier for all involved! Very important bc many Finders of lost dogs already have dogs... and aren't able to safely keep an unknown dog! 🎯 FREE MICROCHIPS & ID tags available 7 days a week at our city shelter, AAC Austin Animal Center, for all Travis County residents! 💥💥To anyone who finds a dog: ⚠️Please require SOLID PROOF of ownership for anyone claiming a found dog! Very important nowadays! Sadly, there are bad people combing social media to get dogs for dog fighting rings. Also dog flippers/ resellers/ backyard breeders monitor Nextdoor, Craigslist, FB etc.🤬🤬🤬 Plus many dogs look very similar!! Examples can include photos, vet records, microchip confirmation, adoption papers, identifying features, etc. Thank you for helping a community dog!

Contact local vets, 24 hour vet hospitals,local fire station to check for microchip.. IT'S FREE! Please make sure the ENTIRE body of the animal is scanned. Microchips can float! Contact neighborhood constable /Police / and vets to see if they know the pet or owner. If someone contacts you, have THEM tell YOU detail information to make sure pet goes to the right owner! If the pup is not chipped and owner is found..have the owner meet you at a vet location to have the pet chipped(strongly convince owner to fix the pup if not already done) and then returned to them at their expense..Most counties/cities requirement is now in place..ALL pets must be chipped and registered! PLEASE be aware dogs stolen daily and used for dog fighting bait!😡 please keep this angel safe. CHECK NEIGHBORHOOD OR HOME CAMERAS IF THERE ARE ANY FOR POSSIBLE ACTIVITY! Thank you for keeping the pup safe!!🐶🐕‍🦺🙏
