Message from Owner

He is very sweet and loving. He is very friendly and loves attention. He is an unaltered male and has a yellow reflective collar with a gold Bell. He is an indoor and outdoor cat and usually outside with our fluffy grey cat. He went out Tuesday afternoon and never returned which is unlike him. We are desperately missing him and are hoping for his safe arrival . We have searched our neighborhood and checked lost and found websites with no luck. If anyone has seen him or has him please contact us.

Sheila Jablonski If you decide to try a collar again, get a breakaway collar.

Really? Unaltered and you wonder why he is not home? If he returns, hopefully you will have him neutered immediately. Have mercy…

MANY years ago, my male got out (not neutered) he was gone for a month. When he came home, it took a couple of hours for him to come to me, very scared. He was skinny, beat up, his little collar was on him & wrapped around his front leg, cutting into his neck and leg to the bone!! After he healed, he never wore a collar again AND he was neutered. He never left home again. PLEASE, when/if he comes home. Get him fixed and chipped. Praying he comes home soon🙏

Sad, not neutered he will be looking for females. If you are lucky to get him back neuter him please, and keep your cats indoors.

Chris Keating This is only for an indoor cat that accidentally gets out. This cat goes out all the time and thereby knows where he lives.

Yes he needs fixed. Mating season is just beginning so he's probably out chasing the girls and making babies. The uncool other part is they sometimes go a long way out of their area if they smell an in heat female and it can be very dangerous for them in unfamiliar territories. Also they will get beat up fighting off other males for the right of mating. They can get deep infected wounds and catch all kinds of diseases from all this fighting. Letting him outside unfixed is playing roulette with your cat. Also neighbors get tired of all the yowling and cat fights and may do him harm or catch him and dump him off somewhere far away. Please GET HIM FIXED AND SAVE HIM FROM ALL THIS HEARTACHE!

Some tips: Go out late at night when it's quiet and call him. Go out today as well. Shake a can of treats or bring stinky food. Bring a flaslight to bettercsee his eyes in bushes. Put up big, in-your-face fliers with a picture. Have neighbors check their garages and sheds. Check the Idaho Humane Society website daily! See if you can leave fliers with vet offices. Post on Nextdoor.com. Praying he returns home soon 🙏
