Joe Arocho I empathize with the poor cat, not the irresponsible owners. If you're providing an outdoor space for you cat, you need to make sure every option of escape or worse is taken into consideration. Also, too much empathy for people when they make mistakes like this only leads to the same outcome. Sometimes tough love is needed, not coddling.

Jeremy VanderVelde You do realize mistakes can happen? What matters is trying to fix things? I sincerely hope one day someone is as empathetic to you when you make a mistake. Additionally, I didn’t know the patio made him an outdoor cat?

Shame on you for making him an outside cat in the crime and drug riddled streets of LA. Why get a cat if you live in the city where so many scummers are and proceed to make him an outdoor cat? I hope he found a family who will keep him indoors and safe like he deserves.

Oh no. Sounds like your cat is a ways away from your home. You’ve got to post hundreds of flyers everywhere of your cat over where he got lost. Please do that today it’s critical. This could save his life. Make sure these flyers are up every day. In addition, please post on all lost pet sites and nextdoor.com your neighborhood watch. Not everyone is on Facebook. Nextdoor goes out to hundreds and hundreds of people. In addition, you must call all shelters and report your cat lost and fax a picture over there. This is critical. You must stay in contact with the shelters for the next couple of weeks in case somebody finds him and drops him off there. I pray you get your baby back as soon as possible and if you do, please never ever let it outside again not even in front. Also keep checking Pawboost daily to see if someone has found your baby.

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
