Renee Carey thank you for your advice but you’re not helping. She’s been indoor/outdoor for 11 yrs. We recently introduced a new cat to her. We inherited from a pet who passed. She’s not responding well to our newest family member so please do not judge us. Thanks!!! Hope you have a good day

Ann Palladino DeColli. They were wild cats? They don’t have to contend with traffic! Take a Sunday drive on a country road, I guarantee you won’t be alone! Dogs are allowed out on leashes or in yards, cats are more agile than dogs and can jump higher And/or climb over high fences. Look in the end everyone decides how to care for their family! But I will remind you that you let your cat out and you take the chance one day your cat may not come home?!

Renee Carey this post is not for your opinion or unsolicited advice. We’re all have a right to do what we want in life. It’s called a free will. I’m reading comments I shouldn’t have to. Please comment only if you have seen her. Thanks! I’m tired of wasting my time reading judgemental posts.

Bea Falcone Liberato I feel that’s false that we are always in control of our destiny. Bad things happen to good people.

Amy Mancuso maybe you can express yourself a bit differently when trying to get your point across to someone. You are out right rude and should not speak to others in that manner. For someone who rescues and helps cats, you should be a little more caring and sympathetic when approaching those who are asking for help. There are many countries where cats roam free and it’s completely acceptable. Not sure why it’s such a far fetched idea it seems elsewhere. I do not believe in keeping any animal caged. If she doesn’t come back, that’s her choice. I hope she’s happy with her new environment. Also cats do not get the credit they deserve for survival. My cat is smarter than most people I know. I’m sure she’s ok. We recently inherited a new cat so she’s probably spooked. You shouldn’t judge or tell others how to raise or take care of their animals/children. This post is for anyone who may have seen her. Not for unsolicited advice. If you’re not going to help, scroll along. Your opinion does not matter to me. Thanks!

Bea Falcone Liberato I feel they are pretty smart with good instincts. They literally don’t get much credit. They survived in the wild for years. I would hate being inside my whole life. That’s a terrifying idea. Dogs go out, why can’t cats?

Ann Palladino DeColli. You’re welcome! Not sure what your point is, but as humans we can make choices how to stay safe?!! But innocent and defenseless beings have to depend on humans, some of whom are not dependable esp when it comes to cats!!

You really don’t know me and please don’t bring my mother up. I also don’t know you and not judging your character. But I do know what is risky and unsafe for cats as I’ve been rescuing them for years. To think your cat is a prisoner in your home is wild. Yet now she’s missing, and that’s acceptable. I’ve seen first hand the horrible things that happens to cats allowed outdoors. You’ve been through this before, correct? Yet you are indifferent to the danger and I’m simply pointing out the obvious consequence you chose to accept. So what happened to me is that I rescue cats everyday from the street and I will always 100% advocate for indoor only cats. Hope your cat is ok!
