Stella Pathiakis coy/wolves are scary. Wolves usually fear and avoid humans. Coyotes don't. Having a hybrid with the size of a wolf and the boldness of a coyote is bad news for everyone.

Michael Luk A couple of years ago, the last winter we had a big snow storm, I peeked out my bedroom window, through the blinds, at around midnight. It was dark in my room, and dark outside except for the moon's reflection on the white snow. And there, 4 ft away, peering through the railing into my small patio, was a Coy/wolf (Coyote/wolf). Amazing, huge animal!!! I could clearly see his huge face! He turned around and tried to go into the woods. It was marshland. Then through the snow to the left, then to the right. He stopped next to an abandoned Christmas tree on the ground, which I measured the next day (6 ft. tall). Yes, he was 6 ft. long!! He disappeared over the seven foot high, plowed snow bank. I never saw him again, but he is forever in my memory. Huge!! Beautiful!!! His were the only footprints out there that night.... I got the video...
