Jennifer, if I can offer some advice, cancel landscaper, keep dog in if it’s an issue. Leave a door ajar 24/7, or make a window accessible. Put your worn unwashed clothes outside door or window, new ones every other day. Don’t put litter or food out. Inside the door, about 10’ in, put a very stinky food, like sardines and favorite cat food. If seen, don’t chase, grab or call. Indoor cats that get out are terrified, immediately hide until they venture out, usually overnight.
