Message from Owner

Arrived to our as an abandoned stray and we have been introducing him to our family cats and planned on adopting him soon. He shows up in the evening and is just the sweetest little guy. 2 days now with no sighting and we do want him to be a part of our cat family….but most importantly, we want to know that he is safe. We call him McDreamy.

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

Post on Nextdoor and Ring apps. Ask neighbors to check car hoods, garages and sheds immediately. Make sure to tap hoods of the car around. Keep an entryway open for cat to get in. Buy or loan a live cat trap from online stores or local tnr groups. Leave your garage open with cat to enter. Put some food and your clothing there for smell. Get a motion sensor camera to detect when cat is around your property

Typically, the best time to find them is throughout the night, normally they tend to hid in fear & only venture out at night, sometimes a scared kitty will hide in the same spot for days😔 Definitely post to the local app Next-door for better local exposure to neighbors. Definitely Do Not put out any litter, litter has been used for years by hunters to attract coyotes which we have a ton of throughout Florida, try putting out used pillow cases, worn t-shirts or anything with ur scent, look outside with a very bright flashlight, cats eyes shine bright when hit with a flashing, shake treats, dry food or anything that creates a sound ur kitty may recognize then quietly wait & listen for any sound. Also, leave a cat carrier or small box with the t-shirts inside. If it's possible, leave a door slightly cracked open or garage door, often they will sneak back in
