Jerrilynn, stop it. Not all cats are content indoors. I had one that would not stay inside. He pushed on the screen of the catio to find a weak spot, and always found it. It became a battle of wits between my hubby and him. He even got out the front door, literally under my nose one time. I came home n he's laying at door wanting in. 🙄. I gave up and would tell him, "don't get eaten, have fun". He lived to 15 and of cancer. Somehow he dodged all the dangers, even coyotes. One can only do so much, if the cat really isn't an indoor cat. His parents are going through enough without blaming them. All you points don't always work. I tried them!
