Please get proof from anyone claiming. Best is to get their name and the name of their vet. Then YOU take the pup to that vet and ask them to verify with their records. Thank you for keeping this little one safe

If you have not done so please call the police in case his family has reported missing. You can also bring to an emergency vet and have them scan for a microchip for free. Please be careful if someone comes forward as the owner to make sure you get proof. Like a video of the person and dog together. Or have them identify a distinguishing mark that is not in the photo posted. There have been people in the area claiming dogs that are not actually theirs and selling them or using as bait in dog fighting. Thank you for helping and keeping the dog safe!
