MISSING CAT – BUTTERS – PLEASE SHARE Our cat Butters has been missing since the night of May 7th and we are very worried. Her AirTag collar last pinged on Main Street between W Midway Blvd and 4th Ave, Broomfield at 11:00 PM on May 7th — and has not updated since despite extensive searching. We have walked the area, the alley, and the open space field multiple times with no sign of her. About Butters: 🐱 Timid and shy — she will not approach strangers easily 🏠 Usually stays close to 📍 Last known location: Main St between Midway & 4th, Broomfield 80020 If you live in that area PLEASE: • Check your grge, shed, bat, or crawl space — she may have snuck in without you knowing • Think back to Wednesday night around 11pm — did you notice anything unusual? • Check near storm drains and tight hiding spots Her brother has been unsettled and searching, which tells us she may still be close. 🐾 We are going door to door today but if you have ANY information — even something small — please reach out. Every detail matters. 📞 Kimberly Darling Please share, especially if you know anyone near Main & Midway in Broomfield. We just want her safe. 💛🐾

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

I am so sorry! She is so beautiful! Please consistently check with vets, rescues and shelters (IN PERSON) - even those not in your area to see if she has been picked up. Also, please put out flyers offering a reward for her return. It is so cold out and there are so many predators – including evil human beings! She is counting on you and I am praying she is safe and you get her back asap! 😢❤

*Keep trying what's listed....All the best in your beautiful cat's return,~💜💜 **Cats that get outside, they tend to panic & hide, usually close to home. When it's dark out, go outside with a flashlight or headlamp & look under every bush, vehicles anything they might go to for safety around your home. Watch for their Eyes to light up with the beam of the flashlight. Let neighbors know, they sometimes will get locked in an open shed & Put posters up. Leave out some bedding/clothing of theirs & yours, but NOT the litter box. Going out with a bag of treats OR whatever your cat loves to eat... calling their name. IF at all possible to leave a window or door open, when it's quiet many have come back. Continue looking & calling. The cat is scared & hiding & may have been chased. REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT If possible consider building a Catio - so much safer for kitties who like the sights/smells of outdoors. attached is one website to build, there are many - google or fb has many showing how to build one. https://thefurbearers.com/blog/catio-season-why-cat-patios-are-good-for-everyone/
