Roscoe, please come . We miss you so much! It's getting a little boring around here without you all up in my face, literally, zooming around the hse, or sitting ever so patiently right by dad as he sleeps. You are the alarm clock. Dad can't play fetch without you. We miss your bobble head sitting on the dash, as if you were navigating us to our destination. We need you! We love you! Please, Roscoe, come

Here's a few suggestions that might help. As soon as your dog has gone missing start looking for it right away for long as you can. If it’s a small dog, check inside your home throughly. Leave your garage door open slightly with its dog bed just inside the door. Put an unwashed article of clothing outside or something with a familiar scent. (Preferably hang it so the wind can carry the scent). Focus your search during times when your neighborhood or communities are quieter- dusk and dawn. If you have another dog you might take it with you. Call animal control and file a missing report at the shelter with pic. Pass out flyers to all veterinarians, and mail carriers. Keep In mind that not everyone is on Facebook. Text your neighbors and friends and asked them to share. Notify microchip company. Post on all local sites with contact information and location. Pass out flyers. Hang large neon posters with contact information large enough to be seen from a car. Focus on areas that have food and water sources. Fast food restaurants seem to be a magnet for them. Some seem to follow or hang around railroad tracks. Be sure to check under porches, in garages, sheds, window wells, ditches. etc. Never assume the dog will come to you. If spotted, Do Not Chase or Call it. While searching the last known area, shake their food dish or a bag such as a chip bag. ◦

Try putting your kitty dirty litter box outside or something that smells like your kitty so he can smell her way home. If you have a garage try leaving it cracked open enough for the kitty to come inside. Also try putting a smelly can of tuna or cat food outside. Cats hide in bushes, under decks, under vehicles and in sewers when they are scared. If you go out at night and shine a flashlight, your cats eyes will glow when you shine it in his eyes. Let your neighbors know your kitty is missing incase they see the kitty. **Also check local shelters daily!!!! I hope you find your kitty soon. 💜🐾

Put his litter box outside on the porch. Cats can smell their own box. Shake treat box and call his name….especially around dusk. Cats freeze and hide close by….check window wells, under sheds and up in nearby trees. Also, if you have a garage, open it a wee bit. Don’t give up calling his name! He’s close by. Shared ♥️
