***LOST DOG FOUND IN AUSTIN, TX!!!*** This little guy was wandering around out front of the Walgreens on East Riverside Drive, just east of S Lakeshore Blvd. He was quite scared, and is a bit matted, so he must have been outside for a while. I took him to animal hosp, they checked him for a chip, but didn't find one. I bought him some toys, fed him, and will hang onto him until @austinanimalservices opens at 11 AM CST. He has settled down, is very playful, and is now resting after what must have been a very long night for the poor little guy. If anyone happens to stumble on this post and knows his owner, or wants to adopt a stray dog, please message me!!! ***UPDATE: I took him to the vet to get checked out and get a rabies shot. The vet says he's in great health, so that's a plus. I have an appointment for him to get a bath tomorrow. My guess is he was abandoned late last night. Hopefully, that is not the case, but all signs point to that, unfortunately. :-(***
