Is your kitty chipped? Check animal control and humane society's and craigslist good luck 🤞 and check window wells under decks and garages and Storm drains and check trees and bushes and woods and check rescues and nextdoor app and check pet fbi

Please do these things asap, especially the dirty clothes and traps. Cats tend to stay close to home. Keep putting food out for him/her. Also place several pieces of recently worn, unwashed clothing outside of your house ASAP. If possible, try to borrow a humane trap and set it by the door through which the cat escaped. This is probably the best way to catch him/her because he/she may be returning to the house but you just aren't seeing them. Once you put a trap out, remove any other food except for the food in the trap. Call his/her name at night when it's quiet, and listen for his/her meow. Post fliers in your neighborhood, at pet stores and vet offices, etc. Be patient and continue to do this. Cats can be gone for days, weeks, or longer, and then just show up one day. Talk to your neighbors so they know to look for him/her and will know he/she is your missing pet and not a stray cat. If you engage people personally, they will be more likely to contact you if they see him/her. Also if you can safely leave the door open through which she escaped, do so and put a pile of dirty clothes and some stinky food like tuna, outside the door he or she got out from! Also check every nook and cranny in your home. Sometimes they are hiding in the smallest and unusual places!

*Start asap* all these tips from all of us are really great tips... they really do work... pleaseeee keep repeating...check with your neighbors for any sightings and ask if they have cameras..go out really late at night or really early in am... middle of the night with flashlight and call for him/her and then quietly listen he/she may be hiding scared injured or stuck somewhere ...shine the flashlight around his/her eyes will reflect off of it...keep checking the shelters go in person make sure you're going to correct shelter where animal control would bring a cat from your area... they are too busy to contact you and check all the pets coming in...set up trail cameras near ur home ..they only take pics when something is in front of it moving ..so you don't have to look thru 24 hours of camera everyday... (there are great ppl out there to lend one to you and so many ppl in the community will help you look for him/her) if you can monitor, set a humane trap with really strong smell food to attract and make sure that’s the only food out for him/her…all the tips to find lost cats really really do work please follow them.keep posting and we'll keep sharing and hang lots of fliers talk to as many ppl and hand them fliers...it'Il keep him/her on everyone's mind so they are always on the lookout…concentrate on putting up fliers especially in ur area they really don't go far at all. If they do go outside or are not neutered/spayed may travel further. No litter box please it may attract predators. Prayers for your kitty out there and you find ok him/her asap!!!
